How can we help?

How do I add photos to my location?

Everything you need for a strong first impression

Show your location at its best and attract more campers

Good photos make all the difference. Campers decide in seconds whether to click through to your location, and that decision starts with the first image. The good news: you have full control over that.

Adding photos

Log in to the Campercontact Host Portal. Click My photos in the left-hand menu. Then click Add photo and select the photos you want to upload.

Use horizontal photos (landscape mode), as these display better in the app and on the website.

Tips for great photos

Show your location the way you would want to see it as a camper yourself:

  • Photograph in bright daylight, preferably in the morning or afternoon. Soft light creates a warm, inviting atmosphere.
  • Start with an overview shot that shows the entire location: its setting, space and atmosphere. Then add close-ups of facilities such as sanitary blocks or power hookups.
  • Show the terrain, not just campervans. Mix photos with and without campervans so visitors get a good sense of the space.
  • Tidy up the site before taking photos. A well-kept appearance builds trust.
  • Highlight unique features: a view, a field of flowers, a quiet spot in nature. What makes your location special?
  • Make sure photos are sharp and well lit. Avoid grainy or blurry images.
  • Make sure people are not recognisably visible in your photos.

💡 Tip: aim for at least 5 photos and keep them up to date.

Want more control over which photos appear first?

On Campercontact, visitors can also add their own photos of your location. This sometimes results in beautiful images, but unfortunately also in photos that don't represent your location well. With a visibility package you decide which photos are shown first.
